Getting to know the Holy Spirit

The Bible gives us a thrilling picture of the mighty personality and power of the Holy Spirit.  Yet to many people the Holy Spirit is little more than a vague and mysterious influence.  Because of this lack of understanding of the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit in the church it is necessary for us to examine what the Bible has to say about the Holy Spirit. 

 

We want to discuss the vital importance of the activity of the Holy Spirit in God’s plan of redemption.  In this series we will also consider our relationship to the Holy Spirit as we become more familiar with Him.  He is not, as some have taught, a mere influence coming from God.  In fact, we will discover that within the whole universe there is no more real and warmer personality than the Holy Spirit.
