Giving

Giving cheefully and sacrificially of our finances is part of our worship. As Christ followers, we believe that God owns everything and we work not to gain and horde personal wealth or possessions, but to be stewards of God's resources and model Jesus to our church family and community.

It is through this commitment that we enable more hearts to be reached, more lives to be changed, more souls to be stirred, more families to be brought together and more hope to be shared.

Each week we take up our offering as part of our worship. Some choose to place it in the offering bags while others do their giving via the Internet at home or via EFTPOS at the church office.

We are thankful to all those who give each week and we encourage everyone to seek God and ask him how much to give and then give with a cheerful and thankful heart (2 Corinthians 9:7).

Stewardship

The ministry of Waurn Ponds Community Church is funded by God's provision through the tithes and offerings of the faithful members and those who attend WPCC.

Those funds are managed and distributed by our Management Team and approved by the Elders of WPCC. We endeavour to exercise wise and faithful stewardship, ethical business practices and full accountability so that the financial integrity of WPCC is upheld at all times and remains beyond reproach.

Every year we present the finances to the members of WPCC through our Annual General Meeting and seek their approval of the years spending and the budget for the following year. If you have any questions in regards to finances, please contac Lynda Rule or the church office to arrange an appointment.
