Church Course: HELPING WITHOUT HURTING
Sunday Nights 24 July – 28 August 2016
How to alleviate poverty without hurting the poor… and yourself.
Good intentions are not enough; it is possible to hurt poor people in the very process of trying to help them. The goal of this course is to equip our church with a ministry framework that restores the poor to fulfilling their God-given callings and potential.
This is an interactive course that encourages participation through discussing the issue of poverty and discovering solutions to alleviate it for good. Each week there is a 20-minute video designed to teach, stimulate thought and bring application to engage the poor in our local communities and overseas.
