The month has gone very quick, and we, as a church, felt so blessed to have the PNG team with us. Although this is the first time these four young people (the below photo) come to Australia, they are settling in very well two weeks after they arrived. They have been here for a month already and have been involved in outreach works with brother Basil at Heathcote and in our church activities, leading prayer meetings, sharing in our communion services, visiting and helping our church folks, and also helping the works around the church property, such as painting rooms in the old manse.
On the 18th of March we had a missions dinner and about eighty people attended. We had a few items presented by the church members and also the visiting team, it was a great night.
On the 3rd of April which is our Missions Sunday, the team will lead the service, which includes preaching, song leading, testimony and share in communion. We are looking forward to it.
In the month of April the team will be more involved in street witnessing, dropping invitation brochures in mail boxes around Long Gully and suburbs that are nearby.
On the 9th of April we are having a family fun day. On that day we will have a Jumping castle, car boot sale, stalls, sausage sizzles, cold drinks, tea & coffee, and also face painting.
