MyChurch.

WPCC is a place where everyone is welcome, where people can meet Jesus and engage in life giving community. We have a heart for authentic worship, the local church and making a difference in our community. We want you to know you are valued and loved and were created on purpose for a purpose.

Faith. Hope. Love.

SUNDAY WPCC KIDS

WPCC Kids, aims to help children develop their love for God, His Word and each other.

We run Kids programs on a Sunday morning, during our services that look like this…

CRECHE/PRESCHOOL (newborn – 3 years)

WPCC has an area where parents can hang out with their babies/toddlers whilst the service is on. With tea and coffee available and the service in the background this is a great space to keep an eye on your little ones and still be a part of the service.

PRIMARY/KINDER (Kinder 3 – Grade 6)

During our Primary program, children enjoy worship together and hear age-appropriate teaching. They then break up into small groups to connect with friends and leaders, talk about the Bible and how it applies to their lives.

MAINLY MUSIC

Mainly Music is a kids program that introduces pre-school children to music, dance, beat, rhythm and more, as well as providing a base for families to think about the God-part of life. It is amazing to think that all this can be achieved in a loving environment that parents, or carers, can share with their children.

YOUTH

We believe the teenage years are such an important time in a young person’s life, as they explore faith and what they believe, develop their outlook on life and connect with those around them.

Our aim at WPCC Youth is to provide opportunities for young people to do all of these things in a fun, safe and inclusive environment. Our ultimate goal is to see young people emerge from the end of their time at WPCC Youth as disciples of Jesus; solid in their faith and ready to move into their “next”!

WPCC Youth generally runs from 7-9pm on a Friday night, during school terms, and is for high school students. The program alternates between crazy activity nights, ‘LIVE’ worship and sharing about our Jesus nights, and smaller more focused Bible study type groups.

YOUNG ADULTS

Our Young Adults group is all about connection. Connecting with Jesus and each other. We have both Connect Group spaces and social activities to create opportunities to find and grow in a relationship with Jesus and find your tribe.

We understand the commitments of work, study and sport etc. So come along when it fits with your schedule and have a laugh or engage in some banter.  Find a place where you belong.

CONNECT GROUPS

Connect Groups are more intimate gatherings (3 or more people) that meet on a regular basis in a variety of ways. We have a variety of different groups designed to help you find community, grow in your relationship with Jesus and find your tribe! They’re for adults of all ages, stages of life, interests and spiritual maturity.

We believe that significant life change best takes place in the context of intentional relationships. Connect Groups are a place where we explore how to apply our faith to real life issues – both the highs and the lows. It’s a place to be encouraged, equipped and challenged to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.

It’s a place where you can connect around common interest and using your gifts to serve in community. There are so many great options to engage in and we would encourage everyone to join a Connect Group that fits you! These Groups are also a great way to introduce new people to our church. Where the larger services may seem a bit daunting for someone new, Connect Groups are a friendly place to build connections.

PRAYER

At WPCC, we believe that prayer fuels both our relationship with Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit activated in our church and our lives. We would love to stand alongside you in prayer and also celebrate with you in the things God is doing in your life. We have monthly Prayer meetings where we gather together and pray.

GIVING

We believe that God calls us to give Him our first and our best – including our finances.

‍Through tithes, offerings and other gifts, we aim to bless our ministries, our local community and our mission partners.

GET INVOLVED

Looking to get involved or simply get to know what our church is about?

We would love to make some intentional time to chat about what makes you tick, how you can find your people, find a place to serve and grow deeper in knowledge about following Jesus and Waurn Ponds Community Church.

We so excited to join with you on this journey!

MISSION

WPCC is actively involved in missions, both a local and International presence.

Locally we are working alongside a number of community partners with an attitude of, “How can we Help”. This has lead to some fantastic opportunities to engage these partners meeting local needs and engaging our community into the broader community in a significant way.

We also have International Mission projects in Fiji, the Solomon Islands, India and the PNG and are involved in supporting churches and preschool ministries through our partnership with CRC International Missions.
