Vision & Mission

WPCC Vision

Vision is a picture of the future that produces passion in people to participate. A God-inspired vision will capture our hearts and imaginations. We have a vision of a multi-site church that is growing, going and giving. A church that is motivated by New Testament principles and a church filled with fully devoted followers of Jesus who energetically embrace God’s Great Commandment and who radically pursue God’s Great Commission.

The Importance of Vision

“Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world!” Joel Barker
“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18
“Then the Lord answered me, write the vision. Make it clear on tablets so that anyone can read it quickly. The vision will still happen at the appointed time. It hurries toward its goal. It won’t be a lie. If it’s delayed, wait for it. It will certainly happen. It won’t be late.” Habakkuk 2:2-3

We believe in having a vision; a vision for future generations to embrace, live out and enjoy. We have a vision of a church that is growing, going and giving. A church that is purely motivated and galvanised by New Testament principles.

A church filled with fully devoted followers of Jesus who energetically embrace God’s Great Commandment and who radically pursue God’s Great Commission.

A church filled with people from all over the world, of all ages, who have counted the cost to fulfil God’s unique call on their lives; who desire to be all God intended them to be.

A church filled with people who are equipped for life spiritually and emotionally and who allow the Holy Spirit to lead them throughout our great nation and the world doing amazing things in Jesus’ Name.

It’s a vision we should all adopt and own. A vision that is advancing forward knowing God is directing our steps. It’s a vision that will cause us to dare to trust the Holy Spirit, for Him to illuminate the path we are to journey together and to fulfil together.

Vision based churches consist of vision led people. God has a tremendous future for our church. A future that we need to seize today! The future is ours for the taking. We need to passionately pursue this vision to be the Church that Jesus envisions us to be – it is our time!

Our Church has a unique, influential and God-ordained mission to fulfil. The future of our society depends largely on whether or not we understand that mission and are able to mobilise our congregation to fulfil our divine mandate. Will we rise to the occasion?
